Volunteer Work
Some people travel with enough money to see the world comfortably without having to worry about money. Others travel on a low budget, and find ways in which they can extend their time in certain places to either better understand the culture and the people of a country, or just because they're loving life and aren't quite ready to board that plane back home. Each person who wants to see the world will have their own desires and their own ideas about how they wish to travel, and that is what makes travelling such a unique and personal journey - it can be entirely catered to what you want to do.
In this section of my blog I talk about volunteering. I talk about my own experiences, and the reason why I chose to volunteer, and what motivated me to do it. But I also talk about other people's experiences with undertaking volunteering projects abroad, or even in their own countries. I've always been intrigued about what moves people to get involved in projects, whether its purely a way of extending their time in a place, or whether they are passionate about a project in which they can fully immerse themselves, and live the local way of life. These writings are from people I have met whilst travelling myself.
These testimonials come from people all over the world, from all walks of life, and from different backgrounds. Every story is unique. There is no chronological order to these testimonials. Some may be currently volunteering, others may have done a project 1 year ago, or 5 years ago, or even 20 years ago.
